Welcome to my place in cyperspace, with a layout inspired by the late ’90’s!

My name is Robert Hansson, hailing from the west of Sweden in Europe. Electric guitarist, riffwriter and producer/engineer. When it comes to my playing, the melody always comes first, no matter what. So when I create music in my own complete homestudio it almost turns out beeing something heavy with a melodic guitarline. But sometimes you can't decide how things will turn out, it just happens. Thats the magic and fun of making music if you dont follow any rules and keep your mind open. I, basically, likes all kinds of music as long as it's... simply, well performed. The name of the domain rawburt.com came up when I talked to a American guy from southern Texas somewhere. He always said, Rrrraaawburrrrrt to me. So just pronounce my name the American Texas way.. Below, a couple of tools of mine.. as of late 2009. This section is extremely dynamic, changes even now and then. To me, a guitar is a tool to use when I need to express myself. I dont even think I have a favorite guitar! I like guitars in general.

Like a carpenter, it’s the result that’s interesting, not that specific hammer you used to nail it togehter. Of course, as a experienced craftsman, you’d prefer a well balanced and reliable tool. Maybe that’s why I like the Japanese made Ibanez ”Prestige” guitars, nothing to worry about ever, just get it up and go! If you cant play on any guitar, are you a guitarplayer then?

It’s in your soul and hands.. and what you do with it.. Saying NOT that I’m the greatest but its quite boring to hear about guitarist that they must have this and that, brands here and there. F***, crank it and blow me off the stage!
